Brief Biography
Dannielle, also known as Rhimes Lecointe is a London based Choreographer, Creative Coach, Dramaturg and aspiring show creator born and raised in London. Visionary and Associate Choreographer for Zoonation The Kate Prince Company. Possessing a unique ability to craft together dance, storytelling and movement, Rhimes has worked with in film, television and stage. In 2010, Rhimes was assistant choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance (BBC) and later that year brought together the all female dance company Boadicea. In 2012, Rhimes led them on to the finals of Got to Dance (Sky One) and later back onto the show as a Super crew in 2013. Rhimes was an assistant choreographer and dance captain on The 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony and soon after joined forces with Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashley Banjo. Rhimes went on to choreograph in the Diversity Arena tours ‘Digitized’,’Limitless’, ‘Limitless The Reboot’, ‘Up Close and Personal’ and The ITV Diversity Special. Rhimes was a choreographer for ’Into the Hoods Remixed’ and is associate choreographer on ‘Everybody’s talking about Jamie’ West End, The UK Tour, The Movie and the newly announced Australian tour. She was associate choreographer on ‘An Officer and a Gentlemen at the Leicester Curve and assisted Zoonation:The Kate Prince Company’s ‘Sylvia’at The Old Vic. As Artistic Director of Zoonation Youth Company Birmingham, Rhimes Directed ‘Groove on down the Road’ at Wolverhampton Arena Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome and Southampton Mayflower theatre. Rhimes is choreographer for ‘In The Willows’ Metta Productions and Dick Whittington at the National theatre. Rhimes then went on to Choreograph The Sun The Moon The Stars at Stratford Theatre Royal and Fantastically Great Women who Changed The World national tour. Other credits include Wayne McGregor’s campaign ‘EVERYbody’ at Selfridges London and both judge and Mentor on ‘BBC Young Dancer’ and nominations for the OFFIES best Choreography/Movement award and Black British Theatre, best movement director.
